Like Thomas Grundmann,Mik Quantius @mikquantius grew up in Cologne Vingst and Neubrück. Both found their way together as teenagers in bands. Mik has been improvising with his voice at hundreds of gigs all over the world, with known and unknown musicians and artists for 42 years, for 16 years also solo with voice and instruments.

DJ Brom @dj__brom is co-founder of the Cologne label SPA Recordings and part of Brunnen e.V.

"We're all born naked and the rest is drag," is a well-known quote by RuPaul Charles, which refers to the fact that the way we dress, do our hair, or even what habits we carry - how we walk, talk and laugh - is the shell we send to our outside world. Thomas Grundmann deals with corresponding questions about our own identity. Inspired by Chaka Khan's "I'm every woman," the artist is "every woman, man, child, etc," in the work series SELF, in which he has been painting his face into the bodies of numerous well-known people from pop culture, iconography or fictional worlds for half a decade. The solo exhibition True Story & Other Stories... by Haiqing Wang explores the fluid boundaries between reality and fiction, role play and staging. At the center is A Drop of Crocodile's Tears, a film that documents the casting process of a queer Chinese director for a staged wedding - a fictional act that turns into an emotional rehearsal for real life. https://www.mouchesvolantes.org
