The artist Ebow released her fourth album "Canê" - a Kurdish word for "darling" or "soul" - in 2022. Ebow consciously wanders between ambivalences and contradictions and keeps them open. Flexing with Prada bags or fast cars on the one hand and political struggle, rapping against homophobia, sexism and racism and for a free Kurdistan on the other. The sound oscillates between powerful beats and emotional R&B arrangements. This year the rapper celebrates her 10th anniversary as a musician and takes her audience on a journey through her albums.
