In the organizer's words:
*Echoes of Baden* is the title of Elodie Bouny’s new album, set to be released in 2027, on which she has rearranged previously unreleased pieces from Baden Powell’s estate. The manuscripts for these pieces come from the Baden Powell Archive, which is managed by his sons.
Elodie Bouny is a composer, guitarist, and producer whose work lies at the intersection of rigorous compositional practice and an attentive perception of the world. Her music moves within a permeable space where the guitar enters into dialogue with the voice, the stage, the orchestra, and cultural narratives from Latin America and Europe.
Trained at the conservatories of Boulogne-Billancourt (Paris) and Strasbourg and holding a doctorate in composition, Elodie has developed an international career characterized by long-term projects and collaborative working methods.
In 2025, her activity on the European music scene intensified. As a performer, she was part of the “Night of the Guitars” tour, which featured 28 concerts in concert halls and at festivals across several countries. She also served as a guest artist and curator at the Ecos Latinos chamber music festival, a project that promotes dialogue between Latin American repertoires, aesthetics, and regions.
That same year, she performed concerts with Nadia Larcher and Kevin Seddiki. In 2026, she premiered a new guitar duo with Gaëlle Solal and developed *Último Grito*, an audiovisual project with filmmaker Wim Forceville. An opera is currently in the works and is scheduled for 2027.
