Science at the zakk
At Echt oder Fake, scientists give an insight into their field of research in easy-to-understand talks. But watch out! Not all of the presentations are true, and something that sounds improbable can still be true

Tobias Löffler leads through an evening full of exciting insights and sets out with the audience in search of the best way to distinguish fakes from real facts. The scientists on stage not only provide an insight into their field of research through generally understandable lectures, they also demand the ability to question critically. After all, some of the presentations are outright lies. The audience then has to find out whether the thesis presented describes reality or something made up. At the end, of course, it is resolved and shown what the fiction was and how it can be distinguished from reality.
In cooperation with iGrad and Besserwissen e.V., the physics and medical physics student council presents this opportunity to train your own critical thinking.
