Welcome to the world of Ecstatic Dance. How wonderful that you are here! We are happy to announce our biggest Ecstatic Dance yet 🔥. With 100 souls we will dance in the beautiful new studio of La Danza Cologne, very close to Barbarossaplatz, where we will have plenty of space to discover ourselves and experience all that happens during the dance.

Together we will start the evening with a cocoa ceremony to tune into the dance with our bodies and hearts - sponsored by Kakao Mischa. If you don't know exactly what to expect from a cacao ceremony, you can find more information below. Please also note that it is not obligatory to drink cocoa. You are welcome to participate in the ceremony without cacao.

Afterwards Jenya and Roman will lead us through a mystical-magical Ecstatic Dance Set. Here is a little impression for you:

An important piece of information at this point - the Ecstatic Dance hall will be a hall completely without speaking. So in the half hour of arrival you will have time to arrive in the room in silence for yourself. Whatever that means.

Ecstatic Dance Guidelines
∆ No cell phones
∆ Drug-free (no alcohol, psychedelics or other substances)
∆ Barefoot
∆ No verbal communication on the dance floor
∆ Respectful and sensitive interaction with each other

Tips and tricks
∆ Bring a blanket and a water bottle with you
∆ Come in comfortable clothes that make you feel safe and at ease
∆ Avoid heavy meals before the event to be able to dance better and also because of the cocoa

About the Kakako ceremony:

Ceremony is a big word. Basically, it's about a place and a time that you take for yourself. For feeling, reflecting and inner alignment. By doing this together, these inner actions become even more powerful. Cacao is popular for taking us even deeper. Cacao itself is a very nourishing plant that is also said to have a special effect on our bodies. The cacao we will be drinking is a raw cacao from Peru prepared with water and some spices, as well as some coconut blossom sugar. Let us take you on this little journey before dancing. Everything can and nothing must!

What is Ecstatic Dance?

- Embodiment
Ecstatic Dance is a wonderful combination of movement, fun, meditation, depth and expansion. It is a great tool to develop into new dimensions with joy in your heart. We give control to the body and let dance become a mirror for our lives.

- Free Journey
This is a ceremonial dance journey where you can follow your own rhythm. Free dancing. This may take some courage at first, but it is precisely in this process of letting go and dancing freely that you are on the journey of Ecstatic Dance.

- A well-founded concept
Ecstatic dance exists worldwide and usually follows the same guidelines. It is about drug-free, cell phone-free dancing without shoes and without talking, so that you can concentrate fully on your own inner world. The DJ will lead all the dancers and it is good to simply let yourself be guided by the sounds that come, regardless of your own taste in music. The music is often cross-genre and leads the dancers through quieter and more dynamic phases. It's all about feeling.

The advance sale ends on 25.01 at 10:00 am. Once the tickets are sold out, there will be no more tickets available at the Box Office. So make sure you get your ticket early!

• 25 x 30€ 'Supporter Ticket'
• 25 x 20€ 'Supported Ticket'

We want to lower the financial hurdle and try to make the ticket categories more solidary. If you feel you can pay 5€ more, you are doing someone a big favor by funding a Supporter Ticket.
