In August 2024, former Werder manager and Bremen politician Willi Lemke passed away unexpectedly. His long-time sporting and friendly companion Rudi Völler comes to the Kulturetage to present the biography "Mr. Lemke, take over!" together with Lemke's wife Heide and the two authors Helmut Hafner and Ralf Lorenzen.

Völler was one of the first players that the young Willi Lemke brought to the Weser. He came from the 2nd division and became a crowd favorite in Bremen and an international player. In conversation with Heide Lemke and the two authors, he will reminisce about his five years in the "Werder family", but also discuss the current situation of the national team.
