The literary salon "Writers' Thursday", which journalist Rainer Schmidt runs above the legendary Borchardt restaurant in Berlin, has long since become the most popular literary event in the capital. Four times a year, he invites six authors to give short and striking readings from their works. Special attention is always paid to the relationship between literature and music. Musicians are inspired by literature, and authors draw creative inspiration from music and pop culture. This fits in with lit.COLOGNE, and so there will now be a "Writers' Thursday Special" for the first time in Cologne. Actor Charly Hübner, DJ Westbam, musician Inga Humpe, Viennese author Stefanie Sargnagel, author Helene Hegemann and musician Hendrik Bolz (Zugezogen Maskulin) will read from their books and talk together about the interplay of their arts. Live music will be provided by 2raumwohnung and Drangsal!
The event lasts approx. 150 minutes including a break.
