A SUMMER NIGHT
The 3rd picnic concert with the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra
Following the overwhelming success of previous years, the Monheim Kulturwerke are now inviting you to the third edition of this special summer night. What began in August 2024 as the biggest classical music event in the city's history - a musical get-together between orchestra and citizens - has now matured into a cherished tradition. The Kyiv Symphony Orchestra has long since arrived in Monheim am Rhein and is looking forward to celebrating this bond in music once again.
On this evening, the orchestra will build on the glittering successes of previous years. You can look forward to a program that masterfully combines two worlds: renowned masterpieces of classical music literature, which every lover knows and appreciates, meet cultural treasures from Ukraine, which are still considered an insider tip in this country.
Enjoy the music in a very personal atmosphere: bring your own culinary delicacies and settle down on your picnic blankets, or choose a seat in the comfortable seating area. Selected catering will also be provided on site.
An important note for a harmonious evening: In order to guarantee all guests an undisturbed view and safety, garden furniture, barbecues, parasols and glass bottles are not permitted on the concert grounds.
