Charles Dickens' A Christmas Story has inspired and delighted generations since 1843 and reminds us of the true meaning of Christmas. Michael Schanze and Christian Berg have now created a new musical from the world's most famous Christmas tale, which celebrates its Munich premiere in November.

THREE GHOSTS OF CHRISTMAS

On Christmas Eve in Victorian London, the miserly and hard-hearted businessman Ebenezer Scrooge turns down the invitation to Christmas dinner at his nephew's house as he does every year, treats his employees badly and refuses to donate to the orphanage. In his world, money has long since triumphed over humanity. On the magical night before Christmas, however, he receives an unexpected visit from the ghost of his deceased business partner Marley, who makes him acutely aware of the consequences of his miserly lifestyle. Shortly afterwards, three ghosts appear to him and take him on a journey through Christmas past, present and future. Will Scrooge succeed in changing his fate and that of his fellow human beings for the better?
