Christmas 1843.
It was followed by a clanking sound from way downstairs, as if someone was tugging a heavy chain across the barrels in the wine merchant's cellar. Ebenezer Scrooge, the most merciless drudge in London, receives a ghostly visit in his poorly lit, cold house. The ghosts of Christmas past, Christmas present, and Christmas future give him one last chance to change his rapacious attitudes....
