Want to design your own 3D objects on a computer?

Then this course is the perfect starting point for you! Whether you want to create your own files for a 3D printer, feed your digitized ideas into a laser cutter, or simply think through and visualize your project thoroughly from the very beginning, Fusion 360 offers you all of that. The only limits are those set by your creativity. To ensure that your limits remain exactly there in the future, our course provides you with the knowledge you need to set your project up for success right from the start on your computer.

Starting with the user interface, we’ll explain the most important tools for confidently using the free community version of Autodesk Fusion 360. During our two-hour session together, we’ll design your first independently created model for the 3D printer. To do this, we’ll briefly explain the 2D sketching area, its uses, and the most important tools. We’ll use the foundation we’ve built to create the 3D design. Once we’ve learned how—almost like magic—your idea can be brought into the physical world with the help of a 3D printer, we’ve also put together many useful tips so you can confidently take your next steps in Fusion on your own and become a pro.

Please bring your own laptop with the program already downloaded. You’ll also need to have already created your own Autodesk user account. If you run into any problems, just let us know and we’ll provide you with step-by-step instructions and support.
