In the organizer's words:
A comedy by Jan Weiler
In this teachers’ lounge comedy, the depths of human nature and real-life clichés clash in an amusing pillow fight of arguments.
It’s Friday afternoon in the teachers’ lounge of a city high school. Six teachers are still hanging around for various reasons and don’t exactly get along. Then a student’s father disrupts the bleak scene and demands that those present discuss the jeopardized high school graduation eligibility of his son, Fabian. When they refuse, he promptly locks them in and forces them to hold a very unconventional report card conference.
As in Sartre’s *No Exit*, the participants—with no means of escape—are condemned to grapple with one another. Soon, their bourgeois facades begin to crumble, and more and more personal abysses come to light. In the end, the question remains: Are these people even qualified to pass judgment on a student? …
