The story centers on Paul—a quirky tinker who lives in an old hot-air balloon basket. Instead of buying new things, he collects sounds and repairs and builds everything from broken objects. For him, upcycling isn’t just a hobby—it’s a philosophy of life. He has almost no contact with other people—until he meets Paulina by chance. Paulina lives in a completely different world: she’s adventurous, loves buying new things, and enjoys telling stories. But Paul’s joy in giving gifts and his unique ideas pique her curiosity. Can she discover the fascination of making things herself?

With plenty of music, movement, and a dash of humor, Musiktheater Lupe brings “Never Enough of Sumsebar” to the stage—an imaginative and humorous play that invites you to marvel, laugh, and reflect.

Children up to and including age 13 may attend the event only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Both the child and the accompanying adult must have a ticket for the performance.
