This five-piece sailor marching band—featuring accordion, tuba, saxophone, drums, and pocket trumpet—transforms old sea shanties, Balkan beats, ’90s hits, and world music into a danceable spectacle.

mahoin brings the pulse of Sankt Pauli to the stage with accordion, drums, and plenty of brass—sometimes loud and wild, sometimes soft and soulful, but always with full energy and soul. From their voyages across the seas, the five musicians in sailor pants bring back a colorful cargo of songs: Ukrainian, Spanish, Serbian, Italian, French, and English tunes mingle with Low German and Hamburg evergreens. Wild rhythms meet driving shanties, Balkan beats blend with familiar catchy tunes and iconic melodies. Everything is fresh and interpreted with a touch of whimsy.
