The "Electronic Music, Lemonade and Tape Art" Weekend Workshops by tape artist Valeryia aka Fabifa in Berlin are a fun and creative way to explore tape as a medium for art.
In this workshop you will learn about the different types of tape and how to use them, as well as techniques for creating different shapes and patterns with tape.
You will have the opportunity to create your own tape art piece using the techniques you learn. The whole thing will be accompanied by good electronic music and delicious lemonade.
It doesn't matter if you already have experience in art or not. In this workshop you can develop your artistic side and try your hand at gluing and tape art. You'll get an introduction to the world of tape art and learn about different techniques and styles. Then it's straight to work: with the help of experienced tape artist Fabifa, you can design your own tape artwork on white PVC board.
The best part? You can take your artwork home, give it as a gift, or even keep working on it.
About the artist
I'm Fabifa, a tape art artist with 7 years of experience. I live and work in Berlin. I express my sense of freedom and self-discovery through art, capturing harmonious moments and reflecting the feelings of my subject. I use tape as my main medium to connect and unite different ideas and make connections between cultures and perspectives.
I draw inspiration from engravings, pop and comic art, and more recently, ultraviolet glowing coral and sea creatures associated with urban nightlife. My art explores human existence and perception and creates a blueprint for the future human.
