Summer Fun at Esslingen’s Merkelpark! ☀️ Summer is just around the corner—and we can’t wait to bring the beautiful, historic Merkelpark back to life! Look forward to a colorful series of events from mid-June through September! Instead of just one weekend, this year we’re celebrating summer flexibly and regardless of the weather, whenever the pop-up bar “fuenfbisneun” is open:

Starting July 12, the Feierabendkollektiv will be performing at Merkelpark every Sunday from 5–7 p.m. with the finest summer singer-songwriter concerts.

You can look forward to a diverse program in a relaxed park atmosphere.

With her guitar, charm, and a keen sense for the unconventional, Elena Seeger’s music explores the big and small questions of our time. Her songs range from humor and subtlety to everyday life and absurdity, lovingly inviting the audience to laugh along, grumble along, and reflect. Alongside songs in Standard German, her love for the Swabian dialect—warm, idiosyncratic, and surprisingly poetic—shines through time and again. Elena Seeger’s stage art has received numerous awards, including the 2025 Baden-Württemberg Cabaret Award’s Encouragement Prize and the 2024 State Prize for Dialect.

Everyday life becomes just a little bit easier with Lisette Noelia and her witty, self-deprecating, yet reflective and profound “comedy-pop.” But it doesn’t always have to be funny—with her bright, soft voice, she can also sing poetically about being in love. But always with her very own undertone in the lyrics, which conveys that she sometimes laughs at herself and invites the listener to see the course of their own life from new perspectives. What sets Lisette Noelia apart in live performances is her stage presence, which immediately draws the audience into the stories she tells. · Storyteller pop. But it doesn’t always have to be funny.
