Engel & Esel-Produktionen: Weihnachtskonzert

The Christmas Concert - A musical Christmas play for children from 3 years and the whole family.

Engel&Esel productions present the songs of their Christmas album. Classic and modern Christmas songs are sung and played in special versions. "Es ist ein Ros entsprungen" in swing style, "Gloria" with echoes of Harry Belafonte, or the poem "Der Bratapfel" in lounge style with piano accompaniment and human beatbox. There will also be opportunities to sing along, especially when the ensemble's popular hand puppets, Donkey Fridolin and Squirrel Eische, join in the action.

Performers: Thandiwe Braun, Jenny Winkler and Joachim Uerschels as well as guests.

Engel&Esel productions became known, among other things, with their self-written play "Die Weihnachtsgeschichte erzählt vom Engel & vom Esel" (2007), which has long been a Christmas tradition for many Cologne families.
