Christmas with Erdmöbel! Every year Erdmöbel comes again to your metropolis. In beautiful locations Erdmöbel celebrate Christmas with their audience. The lucky ones who have already been there know: It will be idiosyncratic and funny, festive and rousing! And in addition, Erdmöbel have a great new album in their luggage this year. They are the German - and actually not at all typically German - answer to the British Christmas pop culture. It has long been Erdmöbel's tradition to release a so-called year-end song shortly before Christmas, which, with the accompanying video clip, is always a very unique reaction to the Christmas season. Christmas should actually be nice. Everyone thinks, everyone wants. Also against Christmas songs is actually nothing to object, if they would only something, or let's say: much more fun. Erdmöbel Christmas is uncomplicated. Funny, melancholic, ironic, blasphemous and yet seriously festive. A real party! More precisely: a party! It was in 2006 when Erdmöbel released their first year-end song with "Weihnachten ist mir doch egal", their now legendary version of Wham's "Last Christmas". From then on, at least one song was added every year. Since then, a complete canon has accumulated, which was finally released with "Gift" as an album, and shortly thereafter also as a songbook. "Gift" is something that saves us all from the miserable routine. A collection that gives us back the (pre-) joy of Christmas. Among them hits like "Lametta" (with MarenEggert), "Ding Ding Dong (Jesus is already crying)" or "Goldener Stern", which like its predecessors ran up and down on the good radio stations. The (mostly sold-out) concerts of Erdmöbel's Christmas tours so far have become beacons in the gloomy Advent season. "Now Christmas can come!" was the most heard relieved sigh of the concert visitors.
