In the organizer's words:
The Munich 1972 Olympic bombing memorial is dedicated to the twelve victims of the terrorist attack: the eleven Israeli athletes and the Bavarian police officer who were killed by the assassins. Their biographies are the focus of the memorial site co-designed by the Jewish Museum Munich. A film installation also gives visitors an understanding of the exact chronology of the hostage-taking and places the historical film and audio documents of the events in their political dimension from today's perspective.
The memorial is an open space and is accessible all day with Free admission:
