Opening of the exhibition "Subjects." with works by the artist Tristan Ulysses Hutgens

Art historian Rune Knaak is collaborating with sculptor and photographer Tristan Ulysses Hutgens as part of the Next-Generation: der FUHRWERKSWAAGE curatorial promotion supported by the RheinEnergieStiftung Kultur.

The exhibition "Subjects." allows exhibition visitors to experience the space of the FUHRWERKSWAAGE as a holistic, sculptural poetic place and experience the interplay between inside and outside. The artist's works on display show his diverse, processual use of materials such as ceramics, stone, bronze and copper, as well as their supplementation with photographic image spaces. Hutgen's works create a subtle, existential connection both to the essence of the material and to the space itself.
