A play about freedom and responsibility
Can we be free if others must remain unfree? What do we take upon ourselves to help a friend? And what about "first nature", whose boundaries we can expand with our will and imagination, but which can also quickly bring us back down to earth if we want to fly too high? One thing is certain: our three heroes are absolutely not prisoners of themselves!
Anyone who thinks Heike is an ordinary firefly is very much mistaken. Because Heike is a firefly with a mission: she wants to be able to fly! Even her best friend, Robert-Robert the frog, won't let nature tell him what to do. He has completely changed his eating habits for the benefit of Heike and now eats a vegetarian diet. The two of them are a great team and would certainly achieve great things. If only they hadn't suddenly found themselves in this awkward situation, trapped in a cardboard box with the strange (and disgusting!) fly Honolulu Jacques, called Jack. What is being played here? Where are they and, most importantly, how do they get out? While Jack has a sudden epiphany, Robert-Robert actually finds it quite cozy and Heike plans the revolution, the three of them have to thoroughly revise their previous ideas of freedom and friendship.
