EU funding and tools to become investor-ready

The event is aimed at young startups that are still developing their product, technology, or business model and are seeking additional funding. Participating startups should be interested in raising capital from various sources, including business angels, venture capital, loans, and public funding. The ideal participant is a technology-oriented company in the pre-seed or seed phase with international ambitions.

The event is structured as a presentation and interactive workshop. Participants will receive an introduction to the basics of public funding opportunities, with a focus on startup-friendly programs within the EU funding landscape, particularly Cascade Funding and the European Innovation Council.

The event not only explains how these programs work but also demonstrates how they can increase the chances of success when combined with private capital and fundraising strategies. Through interactive exercises, participants will learn to identify the most innovative aspects of their technology and find the right funding sources for their needs.

The workshop will also introduce the Investment Readiness Scorecard (IRS) from the EU-funded EEN2EIC project. This scorecard helps startups assess their investment readiness and identify areas for improvement. Participants will have the opportunity to use the IRS interactively during the event.

The organizers will also be available to companies free of charge after the workshop to assist them in implementing their innovation and financing plans.
