From June 12 to 15, 2026, the aka-Filmclub will take you on a journey into the world of analog film and invites all interested parties to experience the Super 8 cine film format up close at the EXPOSED short film festival.
During the festival, you will have the opportunity to make your own short film on analog eight-millimeter film - from the initial idea to the screening. With our support, you will go through all the steps of analog film production yourself. This means you get the equipment and know-how from us, form a film crew, work out a script, act, film and develop the film yourself in the darkroom - all in one weekend. The finished three-minute films will then be premiered on Monday evening, June 15 at 8 p.m. in the large lecture hall of the Biology Department and will be set to music live. All you need to bring is motivation!
No previous knowledge is required. Participation is free of charge. Please register informally by e-mail to exposed@aka-filmclub.de by June 5, 2026 at the latest.
