England, 1968: In the Ford factory in Dagenham, 187 female workers sew car seat covers day after day - underpaid and overlooked. When they refuse to accept this injustice any longer, their protest gives rise to a movement that reaches far beyond the factory halls.
We Want Sex tells the true story of a strike that not only changed labor law, but also the position of women in society. With humor, heart and determination, the film shows how courage and cohesion became a milestone for equal rights. An inspiring evening about solidarity, justice and the power to change things.
