In the organizer's words:
Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, one of the most progressive composers of the late 17th century, fully explored the boundaries of a wide variety of instruments and techniques. Lo Desconcert (zamus: advanced Artists-in-Residence 2021) and Duo Auxesis continue his love of experimentation into the present. Supplemented by live electronics by Pablo Garretón, they interpret his Partitas I-VI with technical possibilities that would surely have appealed to Biber.
