At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS - Stories of failure in love on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Club Bahnhof Ehrenfeld, you'll get the perfect mix of emotional, funny and helpful: two personal stories, relieving stand-up comedy and professional tips on how to make relationships work better in the long term. Want to be entertained and inspired to think? We'll kick off the evening with open conversations about the failures and successes of love and celebrate open and respectful interaction.

At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS, you'll be surprised to see how much you recognize yourself in the stories of others and what differences you notice. The four speakers of the evening will share their personal experiences and messages with you.

Mary Mitch Nobby
was born in Greece in 1987 and has lived in Germany since 1988. She is a trained saleswoman in the jewelry and diamond trade and completed her training as a geriatric nurse in 2019. Her passion for love, nature, spirituality and music accompanies her every day. As an introverted, extroverted overthinker, she found her most authentic language in writing to give free rein to her feelings.

After her debut "Liebe ist groß, Elefantenscheiße auch", she published the sequel "Liebe ist größer als Elefantenscheiße". She is currently working on her third book, "The Song of me & you", which deals with soul connections that exist not only between partners and which signify true love, but also with other close people. Because everything is love.

Mary lives in the small Schwalmtal valley, continues to work in care and still writes.

Oliver Reitemeier
works in the IT industry as a presales consultant. In his spare time, he builds luxurious houseboats as a balance, because he likes the idea of developing a great sense of freedom in a small space. As a consultant, he has already traveled the world, much to his delight: In Australia, England, the USA and Africa, he got to know the cultures and languages. In Cuba he met lovely people who wanted to teach him salsa and in Russia he traveled 16 hours on a train through the snow to catch his flight.

Oliver was also once an unsuccessful musician with a record deal. However, his love for music has not been lost on him. In addition to his job and his passion for houseboats, he likes to go dancing at Odonien with his eyes closed. Oliver likes good and open conversations and enjoys watching movies. At the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS on January 22, 2026 in Cologne, he will tell you how his own story in life and love went - definitely a drama with scenes that still occupy him.

Neo Comedy
The year is 1993, Ariana Grande is born and later lands a mega hit with "Thank u, next", where she sings about her ex Pete Davidson. He has deep-set dark circles under his eyes, just like comedian* Neo, also born in 1993. Coincidence?

Behind these dark circles are years of experience in a heteronormative universe. With a queer-feminist perspective, Neo looks for absurdities in the clash of the two worlds, points them out and creates new provocative material for the stage in a balancing act of bitterness and hilarity. Or as Ariana Grande would put it: "I've learned from the pain, I turned out amazing". Neo will be at the FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS on January 22nd, have fun!

FAIL IN LOVE NIGHTS is all about failure and success in love - sometimes light and humorous, sometimes profound and emotional. The stories that the storytellers tell from their lives and the way they personally deal with their own experiences reflect a wide range of topics.
