Familie Flöz - Hokuspokus

The Flöz family is coming back to Bremerhaven!

The Cultural Office is once again inviting the great Flöz family mask ensemble to the Stadttheater Bremerhaven!

This time the guests from Berlin have the play "Hokuspokus" in their luggage!

"What can a theater evening look like that starts with the beginning of everything? Which roles are assigned? Which characters do you want to see there? Do you need a lump of clay? And above all: how does it all end?

But back to the beginning. Darkness becomes light, the divine breath is breathed and the first lovers are found in the paradisiacal garden. They take their first steps together as a couple, seek shelter from nature and, thank God, find an affordable apartment.

FAMILIE FLÖZ expands its toolbox for this play and shows not only the familiar masked figures but also the actors behind them. Whether making music, singing, filming, speaking or making noises, the ensemble creates the world of masks before the audience's eyes. They alternately lend their bodies to the characters and take their fate into their own hands. Creator and creation meet until the story tells itself.

HOKUSPOKUS tells us something about the theater as a box of wonders that we visit to celebrate the play of lies and truth.
