In the organizer's words:
We are in sympathy with Prokofiev's Cinderella, who does not lose her courage despite the meanness of her stepmother and stepsisters. The music from "Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella" carries her through the countryside to the festival, and in Anna Clyne's "Masquerade" she remains unrecognized. But fortunately there is a happy ending and we celebrate a feast with Cinderella and the prince!
