For years, many dance enthusiasts have marked this date on their calendars: Dance tea with Werner Krötz. The popular musician ended his engagement at the cultural center in December due to ill health. But what would the second Wednesday of the month in the large hall of the Trudering Cultural Center at Wasserburger Landstraße 32 be without snappy melodies, beautifully laid tables and couples twirling around? That's why the team at the cultural center continues to invite you to a dance tea: next time it's Shrove Tuesday. Rose Bihler Shah sings herself and all the guests through the pop repertoire from the 1910s to the 60s, accompanied to the best of her ability by her loved ones: Alois Rottenaicher on piano, Dieter Winter on clarinet, flute and saxophone and Christian Gegg on double bass.
On this day, the loyal couples may come masked - and their perseverance will be rewarded: the box office remains closed, admission is free. Give your dancing legs one last swing before fasting!
