FEAR FACTORY

In the organizer's words:

With Fear Factory the undisputed kings of industrial metal return to the worldwide concert stages! In their wide-ranging, now 34-year history, the band has experienced many ups and downs, went through flights of fancy and personal differences - but somehow it seems as if all this has only made them stronger. This was proven not only by their last studio album "Aggression Continuum", released in 2021 and their eleventh studio album overall, which once again lives up to its title; further proof can be found in the current re-release of their ninth album "The Industrialist", originally released in 2012, which was re-released this year under the title "Re-Industrialized" - with newly recorded drum tracks by their current drummer Mike Heller as well as five previously unreleased bonus tracks. Besides the first hints that the band is already working on a follow-up to "Agression Continuum", the fan community of this all-powerful metal band can also look forward to six German shows at the end of the year: Between November 24 and December 7, Fear Factory will come live to Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg. They weren't just epigones of a previously unknown sound whenFear Feactory formed in 1989 under the name Ulceration - a name that was changed after only a short time to the one we know today; they helped define a new genre with their wild mixture of trash and groove metal as well as pounding industrial elements: Industrial Metal. Initially more at home in death metal, the three founding members Burton C. Bell (vocals, keyboard), Dino Cazares (guitar, bass) and Raymond Herrera (drums) developed a new sound aesthetic under the production assistance of Frontline Assembly member Rhys Fulber, which was as brute as futuristic, scary as emotional from the speakers. After the debut "Soul of a New Machine" (1995), which was released in 1992 and, as is so often the case with Fear Factory, had a highly programmatic title, they already achieved a breakthrough in the USA and Great Britain with their second album "Demanufacture"; with the follow-up "Obsolete", released in 1998, on which Fear Factory condensed their own genre mix to a first band-internal climax, they became the new stars of the metal scene worldwide: despite its uncompromising harshness, the album climbed into high chart regions in countless nations. Through a consistent work ethic, they managed to record a new album every three years on average until 2015, which always readjusted and redefined the once found sound framework. In doing so, they benefited from something that, on the other hand, also prevented them from consistently continuing their work: Fear Factory is one of the long-lived metal bands with probably one of the highest fluctuations of band members, all of whom brought new impulses into the band again and again. Especially between the two heads of the band, Burton C. Bell and Dino Cazares, it came again and again to wild disputes, which partly ended up in court and in 2007 even led to a temporary breakup of the band. After Bell has left the band now finally in 2021, Fear Factory show themselves on their current album "Agggression Continuum" for the first time with the new frontman Milo Silvestro, but at the same time in old strength. The upcoming concerts should be exciting for all fans of this metal dinosaur. The tour is presented by Rock Hard and metal.de. - Disrup Tour 2023 Support: GHOSTS OF ATLANTIS
