FESTIVAL: LEIPZIG DENKT: MUT & UNMUT

In the organizer's words:

LEIPZIG DENKT is an interdisciplinary think-talk-art festival and in 2024 is dedicated to the phenomena of courage, displeasure and alienation. The festival creates and tests spaces for public thinking and talking together in different settings.

To this end, it mixes elements, impulses and discussion dramaturgies from theater and the arts with those from philosophy and the humanities and social sciences. In addition to the LOFFT, the festival takes place at many other cultural and knowledge venues in Leipzig, including the Ostpassage Theater, Moritzbastei, University Library, Literaturhaus, Budde-Haus, Südbrause and Kurt-Masur-Platz.
