Human pyramids as an act of empowerment, acrobatics on unbreakable wood as a sign of resistance, balancing acts against injustice - Circus Baobab uses the language of the circus to make visible the situation of women in Guinea between female genital mutilation, gender stereotypes and self-empowerment. In Yongoyély , everyday objects become acrobatic apparatuses on which the artists support each other. Stability is not created here through strength alone, but through trust and community.
