Celebrate the beginning of summer with music at the Institut français Munich!

This year, the Institut français Munich is celebrating the famous "Fête de la musique" on Friday, June 26! Come and enjoy this cult event, which is celebrated all over France and around the world at the beginning of summer. From 6pm, you can enjoy a variety of free concerts in the Institute's garden: Jazz, indie pop, choir, rock, fanfare, afro house... There is something for every taste.

Starting at 6 pm, the Atout Chœur choir will perform a multilingual show combining classical music and gospel. Then you can start shaking a leg at the concert by indie-pop trio Caronics, followed by the rousing TABTUWAB music group, a brass band with jazz influences.

If pop-rock is more your thing, you'll look forward to the program from 20h: it starts with the performance of The Bad Influencers, followed by The Reload Club and finally the mellow tones of Naë.

Do you feel like dancing into the night? Then come along to our DJ set from 22:15.

Numerous food trucks, food stalls and mobile bars will be on site throughout the evening so that you can enjoy the party and indulge in culinary delights: You'll be able to indulge in hearty dishes, crêpes, ice cream, as well as cocktails and drinks of all kinds.
