Fête de la musique Koblenz 2025

The Fête de la musique will take place in Koblenz for the third year in a row and this time even on Saturdays in 2025 - and we will be there again as a location!

What began in Paris on June 21, 1982 with the idea of the then French Minister of Culture Jack Lang, a few power connections and a lot of musical idealism has long since developed into a global event. Every year on June 21, the world celebrates the Fête de la Musique - the festival of music. This special musical festival now connects people in more than 120 countries and 1,000 cities worldwide as European and Worldwide Music Day. In Germany, the music event first took place in Munich in 1985 and is now celebrated in 80 German cities and over 1,300 cities worldwide. The principle: The Fête de la Musique is a non-profit music festival that takes place every year on the day of the beginning of summer on June 21. It is organized by the citizens of the city, is open to the public, (mostly) in the open air and costs no admission.

From 4 p.m., we will once again be welcoming musicians from the region to our stage in the atrium of the university in Koblenz's Dreikönigenhaus - plus information about the university, drinks and the opportunity to meet and get to know each other!
