More light - Human Rights Day
Once again this year, the film festival "Mehr Licht" will take place at the Depot in cooperation with the Young Humanists Dortmund - this year with a view to 75 years of human rights.
On 10.12.2023 we will be showing the film "Ernest & Célestine" (FSK 0) for everyone from 3 pm and "Seven Winters in Theran" from 5 pm foreveryone aged 16 and over.
Following the screening of Seven Winters in Tehran, there will be a discussion about the situation of women in Iran with Dr. Mahkam Safaei-Shahverdj.

When Ernest the bear's precious violin breaks down, he and his best friend, Célestine the mouse, decide to travel to Ernest's distant homeland to have the violin repaired - after all, this is also the home of the best musicians in the world. When they arrive, however, they discover that all music has been banned in the country for many years - a life without music is unthinkable for the two of them! Together with friends and the support of a mysterious, masked avenger, Ernest and Célestine do everything they can to bring music, and with it joy, back to Ernest's homeland.
