Premiere of the film "Die Amitié" by the Amitié collective. Guests are Aziz Çapkurt, Walter Hess, Ute Holl and Peter Ott
Two people arrive in a bus: AGNIESZKA from Poland, to care for an elderly gentleman who is slowly drifting into oblivion. DIEUDONNÉ from the Ivory Coast to work in a huge greenhouse. You are not alone. Hordes of friendly care workers look after confused Germans. Migrant workers harvest, pack and deliver organic vegetables. At first glance, this may look like a 21st century slave labor system. But the supposedly subalterns communicate via a perfect network: AMITIÉ. A self-learning artificial intelligence that is capable of exchanging information, teaching languages, comparing migration routes, finding jobs and transferring money. An AI that anyone can join, a virtual reality that anyone can enter. Friendship has replaced fraternization. If it weren't for the crazy policeman on the hunt for smugglers!
