MOONLIGHT is a unique cinematic work about how the search for a place in the world, our surroundings, our own family, and especially first love shape us throughout our lives.

MOONLIGHT tells the moving story of young Chiron, who grows up in Miami far removed from any glamour. The film follows pivotal moments in Chiron’s life from childhood through adulthood, as he discovers himself, fights for his place in the world, finds his great love, and loses it again. MOONLIGHT is a unique cinematic work exploring how the search for a place in the world, our surroundings, our own family, and—above all—first love shape us throughout our lives.
