Have you always wanted to go on a long-distance hike but haven’t dared to do so yet and didn’t know where to start? In his workshop, experienced long-distance hiker, author, and travel journalist Fuat Gören will share his practical knowledge with you and offer valuable tips for planning a long-distance hike.

He’ll explain the physical and mental requirements you’ll need to meet, the options available for planning a suitable hike (planning tools, maps, books, apps, information sources, organizing travel to and from your destination, accommodations, etc.), and what to keep in mind during the planning process.
Of course, he’ll be available to answer all your questions on the topic and to engage in a discussion with you.

• The workshop will take place as part of the Globetrotter Hiking Days in Bad Urach
• Admission is until 5:00 p.m. at Bad Urach Town Hall—Marktplatz 8, 72574 Bad Urach.
• Well-behaved (companion) dogs are welcome during the event but must be registered in advance.
