Turn old bottles into drinking glasses, vases or lanterns

In this workshop, you will transform collected glass bottles into new design objects for your home. With the right tools and simple craft techniques, you can create individual drinking glasses, vases, candle holders or lanterns from old glass.

The bottles used include those from restaurants and bars on Potsdamer Platz. You are welcome to bring your own special bottles.

What you can expect

• Introduction to cutting and processing glass bottles
• Working with tools and different glass shapes
• Support with the realization of your own object
• Designing drinking glasses, vases, candle holders or lanterns
• Insight into re-use, material value and sustainable design

You take with you

• your own object made from processed used glass
• practical basic knowledge of glass upcycling
• new ideas for reusing beautiful glass finds

Good to know

• No previous knowledge required
• Materials and tools are provided
• You can bring your own bottles, but you don't have to
• Please wear clothing that is not sensitive
• The workshop takes place with a minimum of 5 participants.
