Create Your Own Found Object Vase

In this workshop, you’ll combine unique glass containers with beautiful pieces of driftwood to create your own wall or table vase.

You’ll learn simple woodworking techniques and various joining methods to securely and aesthetically combine glass and wood. The result is decorative, one-of-a-kind pieces for flowers, plants, or small found objects—made from materials sourced from nature and industry and given a new lease on life.

A creative upcycling workshop for anyone who enjoys working with unique materials and wants to create a one-of-a-kind design piece for their home.

What to expect

• Working with glass vessels and found pieces of wood
• Introduction to basic woodworking techniques
• Learning about various joining techniques
• Designing your own wall or table vase
• Support with composition, structure, and execution
• Creative reuse of natural and industrial resources

Good to know

• No prior experience required
• Materials and tools are provided
• You are welcome to bring your own small glass containers or pieces of wood you’ve found, but this is not required
• Please wear clothing that can get dirty
• The workshop will take place with a minimum of 6 participants.
