In the organizer's words:
For 20 years now, Cologne residents have been able to browse and haggle at the flea market at the horse racing track in Weidenpesch. The racetrack setting is appreciated not only by visitors but also by TV production companies, which enjoy filming the occasional scene here for feature films or flea market series.

The flea market takes place regularly—everyWednesday, Friday, and Saturday, andonce a month onSunday—except on holidays and race days. In addition, there are two multi-day flea market events in the spring and fall in the spectator area behind and in front of the grandstands.
Flea market hours:Wednesdays 8 a.m.–1 p.m., Fridays 8 a.m.–1 p.m., Saturdays 8 a.m.–2 p.m., Sundays 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
