Just do it: The Florabowl, now known worldwide and one of the oldest and most central DIY skateparks in Germany, was created this way: over 10 years ago, a few like-minded people got to work, with concrete, shovels, steel and everything without a building permit; and in one of the most expensive cities in Germany. Rasmus Simon and Arne Fiehl portray this special place in Hamburg's Schanzenviertel, right next to the Rote Flora. A small microcosm that brings many people together, some for a moment, many for a lifetime. No advertising, no admission and no recognizable order. Instead, there is friendly chaos, punk rock, skating, friendship, wit and drive and, above all, a lot of passion and love for the cause. The film describes how the Florabowl came about, how it got going and how it was possible to create such a gem together.
