Floriansmühle Is Becoming a Park
Informational walk through the future site

Major changes are on the horizon for the site of the former Floriansmühlbad in Freimann: This spring, the Munich City Council approved the plans for the area on Freisinger Landstraße. Apartments and a new sports hall are to be built on the grounds of the Jahn sports club. On the opposite side of the Mühlbach stream, a public park and a nature reserve are planned.

To provide information on further developments and facilitate discussion, City Councilmember Dr. Julia Schmitt-Thiel, together with the citizens’ initiative “Renaturation of the Mühlbach in Freimann,” invites the public to a walk along the stream.

A discussion with representatives from the city and the future developer is planned on site. The project management team from Münchner Hausbau and experts from the Planning and Building Department have been invited to attend.

The meeting point is the bridge on Floriansmühlstraße.
