Form + Farbe

For the 70th time, the Arbeitsgemeinschaft bildender Künstler am Mittelrhein invites you to form+farbe in Koblenz. Celebrations were already held last year to mark the 75th anniversary of the AKM. The first exhibition was opened in 1949 in the Alte Burg in Koblenz. Since then, hundreds of exhibitions with thousands of works have been staged. This has made the artists' association an integral part of the art and culture scene in Koblenz and Rhineland-Palatinate.

Art contributes to cultural identity. It reflects social themes, historical contexts and personal stories and promotes understanding and dialog between different cultures.

An exhibition of works always means an interface between the artists, their works and the viewers. The annual art exhibition presents works by over 40 artists from the region and beyond, as far as Cologne and Karlsruhe.

Current works by members of the AKM and guest artists from the fields of painting, sculpture, photography, video and installation will be on display, exploring a wide variety of themes.

At the end of the exhibition, visitors can look forward to a tour with the artists. The AKM is looking forward to an inspiring exchange.
