Frauenstreik in Köln ( Women´s Shutdown)

On November 21, women and queer communities in South Africa will shut down their nation and go on strike. The action was initiated by the South African organization "Women for Change". With the Womes Shutdom, they are demanding ahead of the G20 summit: "Declare gender-based violence and femicide a national emergency. Not someday, but now!"

Our stories are different. But our struggles are connected. We show solidarity with women and take to the streets against femicide in South Africa, Germany and all over the world next Friday.

At 12 noon on Friday, we will lie down on the ground for 15 minutes in transnational solidarity with the activists in South Africa and remain silent. Come in black if possible!
