Actress Katharina Bach confronts Michel Friedman's moving text, in which the publicist traces the history of his family and his own upbringing in Germany. In artfully condensed language, Friedman paints a disturbing picture of his adolescence in a world perceived as foreign and dangerous, full of hatred of Jews, racism and exclusion. In her radical solo performance, Katharina Bach brings this touching kaleidoscope to life.
"Fremd" was invited to the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen.
