FROM 70S TO 90S FUSION NIGHT

"The idea for a fusion night was born on various soundchecks, where we threw quotes of old fusion standards around our ears" - So drummer Tobias Held(monoPunk, Max Mutzke, Heldn's Playlist, anniechops, Hanno Busch, San Glaser, TV-Formats, Michael Stich-Gala: Voices for children 2019, Sascha, Roger Cicero....) when asked about the genesis of the joint project with bassist Arnd Geise (San Glaser, Barry Finnerty, Lutz Krajenski, Joel Havea, Colin Towns, Matalex).

The Hamburgers by choice - both born in North Rhine-Westphalia - share a common musical taste and imprints from their musical past. From the need to constantly evolve in conjunction with researching their own musical roots, a repertoire of hits from various artists of the fusion genre of the 70s/80s & 90s of Chick Corea, Bob Berg. Maik Stern, Dave Weckl, Steps Ahead....
