Front Porch Beatnik
are a musical trio from Berlin. The sound of singer Christian Schidlowski, bassist Dr. Leben and drummer Lucy Kaewprasert moves between post-punk, indie, sixties garage and Americana. The sometimes powerful, sometimes melancholic songs reflect their view of the world in a warm, but deliberately distorted and simple soundscape. The deeply personal lyrics deal with themes such as love, friendship, nostalgic memories - and life in an increasingly complex reality.
