“Techno Is a Family Affair” is back at the Palais. This night is all about “Back to the Roots.” The focus is on partying together, local residents, and no big names—and above all, the music takes center stage! Straight-up techno in all its facets. TiF presents tried-and-true classics with a fresh twist.

The veteran DJ and now Erfurt resident Kai Heizer is doing us the honor of visiting his old “living room,” the Palais. He’ll bring old musical gems back to their full glory and elevate them with the latest bangers. And he’ll be playing that signature Heizer sound, synonymous with high-energy peak-time techno.

Sebastian Pedro is packing his record case with the finest black gold. You’ll always find one or two absolute underground tracks in there. He’ll be playing his signature vocal-driven melodic techno. Excursions into one genre or another are guaranteed, but it always stays nice and deep with a driving beat.

Rounding out the morning—and thus the night—will be TiF founder Mario Merkur. Still an active fixture on the Munich underground scene, he usually knows exactly what’s hot right now. This naturally influences his music selection, which falls somewhere between peak-time and dark minimal. He’ll put his final stamp on the night and make sure everyone keeps dancing until the very end!
