frytz mit y merges acoustic instruments with artificial, digital sounds, creating a sound world that somehow sounds familiar and yet still surprises.

He constantly balances between intimacy and distance, vulnerability and self-confidence, unadulterated emotions and precise form - and finds his own indie rap sound right there. The authenticity of his messages and the ability to transform profound emotions into catchy music characterize the Cologne resident by choice, who loves to live in the big city, but is just as happy to escape it from time to time.

For frytz, his studio is the place where he can isolate himself, write lyrics and produce his music. Most of his songs are written alone - and that is precisely why they remain genuine and authentic.

Frytz also remains self-sufficient on stage. At his shows, he is singer, guitarist and drummer, switching between instruments with ease. And yet his stage presence is not only extraordinary because of this diversity. frytz hits the quiet emotions just as well as the loud ones - and so the show not only has moments for the heart, but also for the pulse and remains predominantly danceable.
